May 8, 1998 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE! PANTERA FORCED TO CANCEL BRAZILIAN CONCERT TOUR Due to circumstances beyond their control, PANTERA have been forced to cancel their concerts in Porto Alegre, Sao Paulo and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The band regrets that they have been put in a position of disappointing their Brazilian fans who have been so supportive over the years, but unfortunately, the requirements necessary to put on the show were not met as promised. PANTERA will reschedule the shows for a time in the near future than to give their fans any less of the professional and exciting performance they would expect from PANTERA. PANTERA want to assure their fans that all is well and stronger than ever; the shows in Chile and Argentina were incredible. PANTERA are extremely disappointed they will not be able to play for their fans in Brazil. They will reschedule the Brazilian shows as soon as the proper presentation can be guaranteed. PANTERA's 101 PROOF tour will continue at the end of May and into June when the band commences on their European festival and headline tour. PANTERA look forward to seeing everyone there.
